Our team brings an established, highly integrated and proven management infrastructure to SeaPort-NxG. Managed by the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), SeaPort-NxG is the follow-on to the SeaPort-e Multiple-Award Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract for soliciting supplier services. It has a five-year base and five-year option ordering period, with a potential value of $5 billion per year or $50 billion over the 10-year contract life span for all SeaPort-NxG awardees. The SeaPort-NxG (SNxG) program is broken out into two major service categories, Engineering and Program Management, as described below.
Engineering Services
This category consists of supporting the application of engineering disciplines to technically support; the research and development of new and existing Naval capabilities and systems, significant alterations to existing systems, the integration and interface of existing equipment or software into different applications or platforms to support the warfighter, and the evaluation of foreign or non-developmental systems, equipment, and technologies. This category also includes all support required within the area of environmental engineering of U. S. Navy weapon systems and base related infrastructure.
Program Management Services
This category consists of applying the business, financial management, and technical disciplines required to support planning, organizing, staffing, controlling, and leading team efforts in managing acquisition programs in order to place capable and supportable systems in the hands of the warfighter when and where needed, and at an affordable price. This category represents the integration of complex systems of differing but related functional disciplines that must work together to achieve program goals through development, production, deployment, operations, support, and disposal.
